I built the system cancer patients never receive from their medical team.
Seven-plus years as a survivor, four major cancer institutions, conversations with researchers around the world, and more than 50 people I've sat with one-on-one after their diagnosis.
I was told the treatments weren't working, and that it looked grim.
When I was diagnosed, I did what most people do. I listened, I nodded, and I walked out with a treatment schedule and almost nothing else. No plan for what to eat. No plan for how to move, how to sleep, or how to keep track of everything coming at me.
Then the news got worse. So I stopped waiting for someone to hand me a plan and went looking for one myself.
Four institutions, four different answers
I went to Duke, Johns Hopkins, MD Anderson, and Mayo Clinic. Each one gave me a different recommendation. I sat with researchers and scientists in multiple countries. I read everything I could get my hands on, and I spent hundreds of thousands of dollars learning what the clinical system was simply never designed to give a patient.
Most people commit to the first plan they hear, because they're scared and in a hurry. I understand why. I also know what it can cost.
What I pieced together was a structure for the other 23 hours of the day: organized records, a written question list for every appointment, a care team where everyone knows their role, and a plan for nutrition, movement, and sleep that changes as you move from one phase to the next.
Why I started helping others
Word got around. People started calling me, sometimes at midnight, right after they'd heard the words themselves. I've now sat with more than 50 of them one-on-one and walked them through the same system. And I watched the same gaps appear, every single time.
Cancer isn't a single event. It's diagnosis, treatment, recovery, and a lifetime of survivorship after that. Most support stops at remission. Mine doesn't, because that's exactly when structure matters most and the attention disappears.
The Cancer Battle Plan, and the free assessment that starts it, is everything I've learned, organized so you don't have to spend seven years and a small fortune finding it yourself.

Alongside your medical team, never instead of it.
I'm not here to replace your doctors or your treatment. I help you get organized, understand your options, and walk into every appointment prepared, so the decisions you make with your medical team are informed ones. Everything I share is about structure and preparation, not medical advice.
Start where I would start with you.
The free assessment uses the same questions I ask when someone calls me after a diagnosis. About five minutes, and you'll know what to do first.
